DRESS-DREAMING

Lately 've had a huge need to browse dresses online and a craving to buy everything I see, mostly those with big skirts, in patterns or floral prints. Blame it on the spring to be. Or just on my vanity.

There is but only one reason I don't buy all of the above for example, and it's the one that I still seem to have some sense of reality when it comes to dress shopping - I am very well aware of the fact that I can't fit all dresses I already have in my wardrobe. Sigh. (Wellfare country problem)

HOwever, I have been adding some items to my other blog, clothing you've seen here before. Not always easy, but that's the way it has to go. Most of yesterday's additions are sold by now, but there is more to come so check it out!

And, therefore I feel entitled to get something new now doesn't it?

I had a vintage dress orgie over at Hoochie Mama Jane some days ago, damn, why did all those dresses have to fit so well! They were fancy frocks in silk and sateen though, I was more thinking of getting myself something for everyday wear. Sigh, again, or then I guess I should just go to more parties...

AN END FOR ONE MAY BE A BEGINNING FOR ANOTHER

You know how the story goes. You meet. It's either love at first sight, or then an interest slowly developing into something more. But either way, if everything goes well you get one another one fine day. You go on adventures together, as well as go through everyday life.

But, at some point you notice that things are not like before. You don't see each other that much anymore. You don't long for each other like you used to. You may have grown apart (literally). You realize you never go out together. You find new points of interest. You might even find it hard to believe you actually spent so much time together back in the days. You may seem so different from each other now. And even if feelings might still be warm, there just comes a point where you, even if it may hurt, have to take the guts to take action and say it out loud: I just don't see a future for us anymore.

I have done it.
In other words, I'm selling some more things away in my other blog!

My saffron colored skirt that should rather belong on a parade girl spinning a stick along with red jackets, white boots, trumpets and elephants (or on you :) than just hanging in my closet. My most wonderful bowed dress and my sandals that say True love!
I will go through some more breakups during the weeks to come so stay tuned.

Hehe, time for some FFB-News again...

* First of all: I drew the lucky winner of the BB Dakota dress in the Chickdowntown giveaway and miss Fortuna's choice landed on Sanna from Finnflair! Congratulations!
(I will be eagerly waiting to receive some pics of the lucky winner in her new dress then :)

Anyway, thanks to all who participated and don't worry, there will be more chances to win later on...

* Then there are more big burlseque happenings coming up later this summer after Psychorama too as we (we as in the Itty bitty Tease Cabaret) stand for the burlesque in the Burlesque Goes Kapakka happening on Saturday August 20th at Wanha! The evening is part of the Art Goes kapakka city festival and the bands of the nigh will be Gun Molls and Gansters and Sweet Jeena and her Sweethears. But more on that later!

* Last but not least; I've set up another blog where I will be auctioning away some of the items in my wardrobe. First up are the two dresses below. If you want to stay tuned then start following!
